Winter Mixed Pairs Finals

Congratulations to Anto Gray and Noel Lyons for winning the above competition.The players braved the cold and the setting sun..
 
to put on a very competitive game. After nine ends the score was 9/7 then the winners just pulled away.

Winter Mixed Pairs Semi Finals

The Winter Mixed Pairs semi finals were played last Wednesday on a reasonable day weather wise. There were two very exiting semi finals and the results were

Anto Gray and Noel Lyons beat Gay Greene and Liam Dodd

Aine Sally and Noel Maguire beat Michael More and Noel Ormsby.

The final will be played next Wednesday at 13.30 and it is hoped there will be a good attendance to support the finalists.  Below are some photos from last Wednesday

ILB Annual Dinner and Presentation of Prizes

The second ILB Annual Dinner and Presentation of Prizes was held last night in Greenhills Bowling Club. There was a record attendance of 143 people and our club was represented by our joint captain Margaret Woods as well as Vivienne Beattie and Gay Greene. The ladies collected a number of trophies and medals on the night, Below are some photographs of the presentations.

The cups and leagues we were winners or runners up in last year were

Saturday division 1 runners up

Veterans division 1 winners

Veterans division 2 winners

There are no cups for the above leagues.

In the summer leagues we won the Veterans Division 2 (Sean Doyle) cup.  This is the cup Vivienne is holding below.
